Cancer Center

Recognizing that no single oncologist can possibly offer every type of effective cancer treatment, we bring some of the area’s top specialists together in one facility to create custom treatment plans for our patients that are truly comprehensive. We believe that our integrative approach, which draws from a pool of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and surgical oncologists, is key to our patients’ success.
Screening & Detection
Biopsy: The removal of cells or tissues for examination by a pathologist. The pathologists may study the tissue under a microscope or perform other tests on the cells or tissue. There are many different types of biopsy procedures.
Clinical Breast Exams & Mammogram: Clinical breast exams and mammograms can be helpful for detecting breast cancer. 3D mammography, nurse navigators to assist patients with a cancer diagnosis, and a high risk breast clinic available for patients who have an increased risk for breast cancer.
MRI, PET & CT Scans: Your provider may recommend a MRI, PET or CT scan for diagnosing and staging cancer. These imaging tools allow physicians to obtain a more detailed knowledge of the cancer.
Prostate Screening: Screening may be done in the form of a digital rectal exam or PSA test (a simple blood test) and can be a highly effective preventative measure.
