Jordan Valley Medical Center and Jordan Valley Medical Center West Valley Campus Receive Stroke Award
The Gold Plus Award for stroke is given to hospitals that implement specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association
WEST JORDAN, UTAH—JULY 28, 2015—Jordan Valley Medical Center and Jordan Valley Medical Center West Valley Campus have received the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outline by the American Heart Association for excellence in patient care and outcomes.
The Get With The Guidelines-Stroke program recognizes hospitals that demonstrate at least 85 percent compliance in each of the seven quality achievement measures. The Stroke Gold Plus award is an advanced level of recognition for hospitals that strive for the improvement of acute stroke treatment and prevention of secondary events by promoting a consistent adherence to scientific treatment guidelines. Jordan Valley Medical Center and Jordan Valley Medical Center West Valley Campus demonstrated quality performance for 24 consecutive months or more.
